The newest gesture based concept by LUNAR Europe, the Gesture Cube, has just been presented. This is a must see!
Awards for Mobile Medical Assistant
In the LUNAR Europe Team I designed the Esprimo MA as the first portable touchscreen computer for medical purposes for Fujitsu Siemens Computers. As an electronic webpad with complete wireless connectivity the Esprimo MA closes the gap between the medical staff and the hospital network databanks of digital patient information.
In the mean time the company is now Fujitsu Technolog Solutions and the product is being distributed by the company Bormann that developed the MMA.
Until now it has received the if Product Design Award 2009, the red dot Product Design Award 2009 and is nominated for the Designpreis Deutschland 2010.
Now part of the Lunar Europe Team
After contracting for Lunar Europe in Munich a few months, I am now a senior industrial designer of the european branch of Lunar Design. Lunar has a 25 year reputation for award winning design based in San Francisco, USA and since 2005 also Hong Kong, China. Together with the Munich office, opened in 2006, Lunar spans over the entire globe, offering design, user experience and engineering services.

Recently the Siemens Gigaset S670 cordless phone, which was designed by Oliver Meer, Theo Gonser and me during my time at designafairs, received an if Product Design Award 2007. During the project a whole product range including handset, base station, answering machine and charger was realised.
